Today was a great day.
Not only did I get into Indianapolis an hour earlier than I had expected, I fixed my first bike tire today! On my way down to Indi, my front wheel hit a pothole and burst my tube. Based on what I learned the day before I left Chicago on YouTube, I grabbed my tools and went to work:

The fix was quick, and my legs were feeling fresh from the tailwind and level altitude so I picked up the pace and raced down Monon Trail, a trail stretching more than 20 miles across the greater Indianapolis area.
The remainder of the ride was quick, and I met up with my Couchsurfing host, Kenny. Because I had lost my wallet the day before and today was a Sunday, I still didn't have any money to pay for dinner. Kenny had been generous to help me out during my stay. It seems my luck never runs out.
It's been a great stay in Indi thus far, but I haven't had the chance to tour the city. I'm gonna have to come back to visit in the summer, but for now, I have another big destination coming tomorrow - Seymour, IN. It'll be my last stop before I leave Indiana, so I'm excited!
